The AI Service Centre Berlin Brandenburg is a project at the Hasso Plattner Institute. Our goal is to foster the use of artificial intelligence in business and society.
We support German start-ups, companies, public institutions, students, and researchers in developing and using AI applications. To this end, we provide the necessary resources, training, and advice at no cost.
Our infrastructure enables users to run AI workloads efficiently, whether for research or prototyping. We offer a heterogeneous infrastructure to support a variety of machine learning and deep learning tasks.
To initiate a pilot project, submit a proposal outlining your project goals, required resources, and expected outcomes. The proposal will be reviewed by the Steering Committee of the HPI AI Service Centre.
If your proposal is accepted, you will need to complete the following steps to set up your account:

Our fair use policy is based on that of HPI SCI-Lab:
We expect you to use our resources in a fair manner. This means that you should not monopolize resources for your own projects. Your usage of our resources should never disrupt the work of others. If you are using our resources in a way that is not fair (at least from our perspective and the perspective of other users of our resources, which is what counts here!), we will contact you and ask you to change your usage. If you do not comply with our request, we will have to take action, which may include suspending your access to our resources. Please be fair - we don’t want trouble either!
This is a publicly funded research cluster. Only use our resources how they are intended to be used, and only for the purpose you have been granted access to them. (Only agreed projects, no private use, no commercial use, no mining, etc.) If you are not sure whether your usage is allowed, please contact us first.
Abusing these resources may result in permanent suspension of access, legal action, and university disciplinary measures.
